love in our bond -
LOVE.
“To keep our lives gentle. merciful and just; Thus being true to the womanhood of love.”
Love is to accept and embrace each and every one of our sisters for who they truly are. When a Phi Mu loves, she loves hard. We love and support each other as we watch our sisters grow into the best versions of themselves. It’s the little things, like the late night sweet treat runs, having a shoulder to cry on and small acts of kindness that built a bond like no other. Love is all around us and you will find it here in Phi Mu.
honor.
“Being honorable, courteous and tender; Thus being true to the womanhood of honor.”
Honor embodies a commitment of respect and responsibility in which we make to Phi Mu. Because of this commitment we’ve made, we will forever strive to uphold the reputation and responsibility we have taken on as a Phi Mu woman. We will always honor our commitment to this sisterhood and each other and will hold each other to high academic and personal standards.
truth.
“To practice day by day love, honor, truth; Thus keeping true to the meaning, spirit and reality of Phi Mu.”
Phi Mu has built a sisterhood where everyone is encouraged to be their true and authentic self. Whether it’s being truthful to others or yourself, this sisterhood will teach you the importance of it. Truth is the foundation of our integrity, encouraging us to be honest and courageous, even when it gets hard.
our philanthropy
“To lend to those less fortunate a helping hand.”
Phi Mu is proud to partner with Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Here at South Alabama, we are lucky to have serve and partner with our very own USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital right down the road.
OUR SISTERHOOD.
“I love Phi Mu because of the bond I have made with so many girls. Our sisterhood is built on mutual love, support and a sense of belonging. I feel constantly supported and pushed to achieve my goals and am rewarded with excitement for all of my accomplishments. In Phi Mu, everyone has a love to do it all! We push everyday to participate to our full ability and support not only each other, but all of greek life and other organizations on campus.”
